I saw that many people in my country who are not good at English often rely on Google translation. If they type some Chinese sentences, and it will show some weird sentences in English, and teachers would not appreciate this kind of work because it sounds unnatural.

Thank you for your programmes. They are useful for people and your voices are clear and comprehensible. In this programme I can learn more new words help me improve them. Once again thanks for your lessons and hope that you will have more interesting programmes and bring everybody a lot of benefits.

In javanese language in indonesia there is a similar expression for RAIN DOG AND CAT , UDAN KETHEK NGILO

UDAN is rain
KETHEK is monkey

This is a useful topic with me. Because when I stated learn English, i always translate word by word. It made the sentence not only not natural but also misunderstood. It’d like me become difficutly over the period. Recently, i watch moive more than before taking see situation in the film.
I know I have double about grammar as well as vocabulary so i comment not natural and polite. But i hope you ignore to me and i’ll find out more than

Computers can't deal with novel thinking. And they can't correctly translate metaphors sometimes.

I try to listen to 6 minutes everyday to improve my English skills. Thank you so much for this great program.

flummox- very confused that don't know what to do
rote learning involves memorizing information that you repeat but don't really understand.
a metaphor is a way of describing something by reference of something else

There are cases around the world when one product is named differently in different countries because its translation sometimes could be even obscene or bad for marketing

Technology is something amazing when used in a proper way, but this one will make people lazy.
This is a personal view.

Very good lecture. Here in Brazil we have a interesting idiomatic expression that have different meaning in English. When a person says "You are a cold feet", we want to express that someone has bad luck, but I know that in English it means totally different. It means that someone has no courage. I wonder how languages are very interesting and different at same time.
