Why is "Bow" in here as an example? It could be Bough, Plough, or Drought?

I once learnt the 9 sounds from a British channel (Let them talk) "The wind was rough along the lough as the ploughman fought through the snow. Although he hiccoughed and coughed, his work was thorough". I think the best thing to do is to study every word separately at a time.

Certainly true, but "bow" it's not the best example. It doesn't contain "ough" and the verb rhymes with "now", but it rhymes with "low" in "bow and arrow". Drought is a better example, it rhymes with "out"

Whoops! The word BOW in this video should be BOUGH (they can be pronounced the same way)! Sorry for any confusion! :)
