I like dates and grapes

My favorite fruits are Mango, Grapes, Bananas and Apples. They are delicious, but I sometimes eat them when my family buy them at the supermarket.

For example, Fyffe's warehouses forfeit by the Spanish army turned into a gaol, a jail for prisoners of war.

My hometown is in a fairly cold northern area, and it grows the best grapes in the world ;)

I can see some answers are in their plural form while some aren't. I am sure all these fruits are countable nouns. Can anyone explain why? I am so confused.

I'm not a big fan of apples. I eat bananas for my diet. I love grapes but I can't stand the seed. I love oranges so much. I also love peaches. I am not sure about dates. I really love watermelon but the problem is its seed. I really love eating pineapple. I guess I have never tasted cherries. Mangoes are one of my favorite fruits.
